- Regularly check if the pole and terminal connections are reliable. To prevent oxidation of the terminals, protective agents such as Vaseline can be applied.
- The air holes on the battery cover should be unobstructed. When charging a battery, a large number of bubbles will be generated. If the vent hole is blocked, the gas cannot escape. When the pressure increases to a certain degree, it will cause the battery shell to explode.
- The method of direct ignition (short circuit test) cannot be used to check the battery level, as this can cause damage to the battery.
- Check the electrolyte height inside the battery. If the electrolyte is found to be too low, distilled water or specialized lead-acid battery replenishment solution should be added. Never use purified drinking water as a substitute. (Only applicable to lead-acid batteries, please ignore maintenance free batteries and lithium batteries)
- When using an electric vehicle, gently step on the accelerator pedal, otherwise the instantaneous high current discharge will damage the battery.
- It is recommended to fully charge the battery of an electric vehicle in a timely manner after short distance use, so that the battery can always remain saturated and maintain its service life.
